Training and Development Specialist

Overview

Future Lab Studio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist on an independent contractor basis. This individual will play a crucial role in creating, planning, and executing training programs for our diverse portfolio of Startups and Corporates, ensuring that they effectively use our Incubation and Acceleration programs to grow their products and enterprises.

Responsibilities

1. Assess the training needs of our portfolio Startups and Corporates through surveys, interviews, and consultations with Founders and Executives, and so on.
2. Design and create training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials.
3. Review training materials from a variety of vendors and choose appropriate materials.
4. Deliver training to beneficiaries using a variety of instructional techniques.
5. Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure they are current and effective.
6. Select and assign instructors or vendors to conduct training.
7. Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrolment.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a Training and Development Specialist or similar role.
2. Training and Development experience in Startup incubation or acceleration is an added advantage.
3. Excellent knowledge of modern training techniques and tools.
4. Experience in project management and budgeting.
5. Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
7. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Contract Details

This is a consultancy position on an independent contractor basis. The duration of the contract, hours, and compensation will be determined based on the project requirements and the consultant’s expertise. The consultant will be responsible for their own equipment and must have the ability to work remotely.
