Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager/CTO to lead our technical team and oversee all the technical aspects of Future Lab Studio and its support portfolio Startups and Corporate partners. This role involves setting the Studio’s technological strategy, making high-level decisions regarding software and hardware needs, and ensuring the security and efficiency of all technical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the technical strategy of the Studio in alignment with our strategic goals.
- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
- Lead the technical team, including developers, engineers, and IT staff.
- Make high-level decisions regarding the Studio’s technical needs, including software and hardware.
- Ensure the security of all technical systems and data.
- Collaborate with the management team and other stakeholders to set strategic goals and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and advancements.
- Oversee the development and management of all technical projects.
- Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all technical operations.
- Leverage the Studio’s technology stack to successfully build and run the various platforms necessary to support portfolio Startups, Corporates and the Studio’s strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CTO, Technical Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces.
- Knowledge of technological trends and an ability to use this knowledge to build strategy.
- Understanding of budgets and business-planning.
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with multiple tools within the Studio’s tech stack is highly desirable.
- Applicant must be aged 35 years and below.

Contract Details
This is a consultancy position on an independent contractor basis. The duration of the contract, hours, and compensation will be determined based on the project requirements and the consultant’s expertise. The consultant will be responsible for their own equipment.
