Overview

Future Lab Studio is actively seeking a seasoned Social Media Manager to join our team as an independent contractor. This role is integral to our online presence and engagement across various social media platforms.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement social media brand strategies, campaigns, and plans to enhance brand/Studio awareness.
  2. Manage daily campaign operations ensuring brand consistency.
  3. Create, maintain, and grow new and existing social networks, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook.
  4. Oversee the Studio blog and editorial calendar that aligns with social updates.
  5. Monitor social media progress using web analytic tools and incorporate optimization strategies to increase traffic.
  6. Review the success of campaigns and develop ways to improve.
  7. Plan and manage social media advertising strategies and budgets.
  8. Establish new media partnerships and drive engagement with social media influencers.
  9. Resolve customer issues through social media and create engaging written and visual content for the blog.
  10. Stay updated with new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities and provide feedback to business strategists.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  2. Excellent knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices.
  3. Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  4. Experience with audience and buyer persona research.
  5. Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  6. Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  7. Excellent multitasking skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Team player with good time-management skills.
  9. Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  10. Applicant must be aged 35 years and below.

Contract Details

This is a consultancy position on an independent contractor basis. The duration of the contract, hours, and compensation will be determined based on the project requirements and the consultant’s expertise. The consultant will be responsible for their own equipment and must have the ability to work remotely.
