Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Manager to join Future Lab Studio on a consultancy basis. This role will work closely with our technical team, Portfolio Startups and Corporate Partners, and other stakeholders to define product vision, set the strategy, create a roadmap, and prioritize the product backlog for a variety of tech-enabled products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with the development team to ensure the product meets market needs.
Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the technical team, portfolio Startups and Corporate partners and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Studio’s, Portfolio Startups’ and Corporate Partners’ technical teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
- Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and product requirements.
- Support the Studio, Portfolio Startups, and Corporate Partners, as appropriate, to evaluate competitor products and develop strategies to ensure products offer unique value.
- Collaborate with the Studio’s, Portfolio Startups’ and Corporate Partners’ marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
- Define and track key metrics to measure the success of the various products you support.
- Communicate product status and key issues to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that respective teams are working on the most valuable features.
- Work closely with the Studio’s, Portfolio Startups’ and Corporate Partners’ development teams to ensure they understand the vision for the respective products and are working on the right items.
- Leverage the Studio’s, Portfolio Startups’ and Corporate Partners’ technology stacks to successfully build and run the various products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner or similar role in product management.
- Experience in managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with the tools mentioned above is highly desirable.
- Applicant must be aged 35 years and below.

Contract Details
This is a consultancy position on an independent contractor basis. The duration of the contract, hours, and compensation will be determined based on the various project requirements and the consultant’s expertise. The consultant will be responsible for their own equipment and must have the ability to work remotely.
