FullStack Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced FullStack Developer to join Future Lab Studio on a consultancy basis. The FullStack Developer will work closely with our product and technical teams to support Portfolio Startups and Corporates to design and implement solutions for their tech-enabled products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, a deep understanding of web technologies, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

1. Work with development teams and product managers at portfolio Startups and Corporates to ideate software solutions that leverage the Digital Rails and Studio technology stack, as appropriate.
2. Design client-side and server-side architecture.
3. Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
4. Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
5. Write effective APIs.
6. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
7. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
8. Create security and data protection settings.
9. Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
10. Write technical documentation.
11. Leverage the Digital Rails and Studio’s technology stack to successfully build, deploy, manage and scale solutions. 
12. Applicant must be aged 35 years and below.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a FullStack Developer or similar role in software development.
3. Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.
4. Familiarity with common stacks.
5. Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
6. Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js).
7. Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.
8. Intermediate to advanced skills in Kotlin, React Native and Flutter are an added advantage.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. Great attention to detail, organizational skills, and an analytical mind.
11. Experience with the tools mentioned above is highly desirable.
12. Applicant must be aged 35 years and below.

Contract Details

This is a consultancy position on an independent contractor basis. The duration of the contract, hours, and compensation will be determined based on the project requirements and the consultant’s expertise. The consultant will be responsible for their own equipment and must have the ability to work remotely.
