Financial Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Financial Analyst Consultant to join Future Lab Studio. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to work remotely and manage your own schedule, while being part of a dynamic and innovative team. As a Financial Analyst Consultant, your role will be to study portfolio Startup’s financial data and provide them with advice for guiding business investments and overall financial strategy. Your duties will include:

Responsibilities

1. Analysing financial data and providing forecasting support.
2. Preparing reports and projections based on financial data.
3. Recommending individual and collections of investments, also known as portfolios.
4. Evaluating current and previous financial data.
5. Studying business and economic trends.
6. Determining a Studio’s value by examining its financial statements.

Qualifications

1. 1. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
   2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data, interpret trends, and make accurate forecasts. 
   3. Proficiency in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and valuation techniques.
   4. Advanced understanding of financial reporting standards, procedures, and regulations. 
   5. Ability to prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, and present findings to stakeholders.
   6. Experience in the Studio’s focus sectors is an added advantage.
   7. Knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management practices.
   8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy and an ability to identify errors or inconsistencies and ensure data integrity.
   9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate financial analysis results, insights, and recommendations to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
   10. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to analyze complex financial scenarios, identify patterns, and propose solutions. 
   11. Ability to work with ambiguity and make sound financial decisions based on available information.
   12. Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is highly desirable
   13. Applicant must be aged 35 years and below.

Contract Details

This is a consultancy position on an independent contractor basis. The duration of the contract, hours, and compensation will be determined based on the project requirements and the consultant’s expertise. The consultant will be responsible for their own equipment and must have the ability to work remotely.
