Finance & Procurement Associate

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance & Procurement Associate to join Future Lab Studio on an Independent Contractor basis. This role will manage financial tasks and procurement, ensuring the Studio gets value for money as it provides a broad range of support and services to portfolio Startups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and procurement, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial and procurement principles.

Responsibilities

1. Manage financial tasks, such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
3. Manage the procurement of goods and services, ensuring the Studio gets value for money.
4. Collaborate with the Procurement Department to negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
5. Review and compare supplier products to ensure items meet specifications.
6. Oversee supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.
7. Prepare and process requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices for purchases.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Finance Associate/Procurement Associate or similar role in finance and procurement.
3. Strong knowledge of financial and procurement principles.
4. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Experience with the tools mentioned above is highly desirable.
8. Applicant must be aged 35 years and below.

Contract Details

This is a consultancy position on an independent contractor basis. The duration of the contract, hours, and compensation will be determined based on the project requirements and the consultant’s expertise. The consultant will be responsible for their own equipment and must have the ability to work remotely.
