Community Manager

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Community Manager to join Future Lab Studio. This role will manage and engage with our various Communities of Practice of Founders, Executives and Experts solving collaborating to solve complex challenges in Digital Inclusion, Automating Trust, and Climate Action, among others, and to support our portfolio Startups and Corporates in building highly engaged user communities, altogether fostering a positive and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of online communities.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement community engagement strategies.
2. Manage and engage with the Studio’s and our portfolio Startups’ and Corporate Partners’ communities on various platforms.
3. Foster a positive and engaging community environment across various platforms.
4. Monitor community spaces and enforce community guidelines.
5. Facilitate discussions and encourage user interaction.
6. Respond to community inquiries and feedback in a timely manner.
7. Collaborate with the marketing team to create community-focused content.
8. Analyze community engagement data and provide reports on community metrics.
9. Leverage the various tools in the Studio’s technology stack to successfully build and run the various Studio, Startup and Corporate Partner communities that the Studio supports. 

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role in community management.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong knowledge of online communities and social media platforms.
5. Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Experience with the tools mentioned above is highly desirable.
8. Applicant must be aged 35 years and below.

Contract Details

This is a consultancy position on an independent contractor basis. The duration of the contract, hours, and compensation will be determined based on the project requirements and the consultant’s expertise. The consultant will be responsible for their own equipment and must have the ability to work remotely.
